Terms and conditions

Order

When you place an order on Mamasaty.fo, you will automatically receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation is not a legally binding agreement between you and Mamasaty.fo. We reserve the right to cancel the order if there is an error in the price, product description, availability, or similar issues. Once the order has been finalized and processed, you will receive an invoice by email, which constitutes a binding agreement between you and Mamasaty.fo. You may create a customer account on our website to track orders and view order history. However, creating an account is not required to make a purchase. If you have any questions about our products, we are happy to hear from you.

Prices

All prices on Mamasaty.fo include 25% VAT and are shown in Danish Kroner (DKK). We reserve the right for typographical errors, price changes, sold-out products, and supply issues from suppliers.

Payment

You can pay electronically by credit card or by bank transfer. Once you have accepted the payment terms and completed checkout, you will automatically receive an order confirmation by email. As soon as we receive the payment, your order will be processed. All card payments are securely processed through our payment provider, and Mamasaty.fo does not store any card data. We do not share customer information with third parties, except when necessary for payment or delivery purposes.

    NB: Please include your order number and customer name. If the order is not paid within 48 hours, Mamasaty.fo reserves the right to sell the product to another buyer.

Deliveries

You can choose between pickup and delivery.
Pickup: Orders are usually ready for pickup within 2 hours after confirmation.
Delivery: Orders are normally shipped within 24 hours once payment is received. We use Posta or another reliable carrier. Customers pay for delivery according to current rates. If there are any changes, you will be notified by email.
Pickup location: Kráarvegur 20, 530 Fuglafjørður.

Return and Exchanges

We only sell food products; therefore, no returns or exchanges are accepted unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival. If this occurs, please contact us immediately by email and attach a photo of the item.

Right of Complaint

If a product is damaged, spoiled, or incorrect upon delivery, please contact us immediately by email at samband@dev.mamasaty.fo with a description and photo of the issue. Complaints must be made within 48 hours of receiving perishable food items, or before the expiration date for packaged dry goods. Once the issue is verified, we will offer either a replacement product or a refund.
The right of complaint does not cover issues caused by improper storage, handling, or use after delivery.

Privacy and Data Protection

Mamasaty.fo respects your privacy. We use customer data only to improve our services and to process your orders. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties, except when necessary for payment or delivery.

Cookie Policy

We use cookies on our website to  provide you with a better user experience and to understand how the website is used. Cookies do contain any personnal data, and you can delete or restrict them at any time in your browser settings. By continuing to use the website, you accept the use of cookies according to these terms.
